THE PHENOM IS BACK

There has been a lot of back and forth among wrestling fans in recent weeks and months regarding The Undertaker's status with WWE. While some expected him to return in time for WrestleMania as usual, there was a large contingent of fans that argued a mixture of injuries and contract issues would keep Taker away.

Many questions were answered last Saturday, though, as The Undertaker shockingly returned at a live event in Waco, Texas to team with Sheamus against Wade Barrett and Damien Sandow.

Ricardo Rodriguez introduces Alberto Del Rio. Alberto Del Rio makes his way to the ring. Damien Sandow makes his way to the ring, with a mic. Damien speaks of how Alberto fits in with America, with poor grammar, lackluster word choice and abhorrent sentence structure. Above all, Sandow says Alberto is accompanied by a man in a rented tuxedo in a spit bucket. Damien says he is only accompanied by his superior intellect, timeless good looks and the jealous gazes of the unwashed masses. Alberto says Sandow should wash his mouth out, because it smells like “cacka.”

The world of mixed martial arts continues to grow every single day. In February, the UFC gave fans a title fight on free television for the third consecutive month, a superfight and the debut of a new division. In March, Dana White  and Co. are showing no signs of slowing down.

Georges St-Pierre and Nick Diaz headline UFC 158 in the biggest fight of the month. However, with UFC on Fuel 8, a trio of Bellator events and WSOF 2 on the horizon, there is lots of action to satisfy even the hungriest of appetites.
